I was never interested in pursuing filming. Then in summer 2015 Neara Russell asked if we could make a music video together. I was, like, "you know what, let's try this." Since then, I've made five music videos -- one is still in post production. I think it's interesting how we fall into things sometimes. And I'm really happy that I've been able to create these moving stories because, though all the rules between photo and video are basically the same, there's a dynamic nature to video that just can't be captured in a photo. I love both of these outlets for very different reasons. Photo will always have my heart, but there's really nothing like creating a music video, and being like, "wow. I did that."
